Rental Protection Plus insurance
| Rental Protection Plus gives landlords the flexibility to choose the cover they need. As well as having the option to insure the building and any contents owned by the Landlord in the property against all of the usual major risks such as fire and storm damage, rental protection plus can be tailored to include:
- Accidental damage or breakage*
- Malicious damage or vandalism caused by tenants
- Deliberate or intentional damage caused by tenants
- Liability is cover for claims made against youfor injury suffered on your property
- Contents covering items such as carpets, internal blinds, curtains, light fittings and offer furnishings in the event of fire, theft, bulglary, storm and mortal damage
Landlords can also further tailor the policy by adding
cover for:
- Loss of rental income
- Rent default and theft by tenants

Rental Protection Plus is designed to allow the landlord
to only pay for the cover they need.
As advice, including opinions and recommendations, can no
longer be given to landlords in respect of purchasing this
type of insurance without needing to be properly licensed
or authorised, landlords must now make their own decisions
in respect of the cover they require.
