Rental Protection Plus landlords' insurance offers choice to your landlords - including the choice to pay only for the cover they select.

Quotes for Rental Protection Plus are now available online – You can now source a Rental Protection Plus insurance quote online for your landlords.

Have the landlord provide you with details of the cover they require, including the sums to be insured (why not use the Quote Request Form to capture all the information you need to obtain a quote). You enter the information into the on line application and obtain a quote.

Don’t forget to save your quote and record your quote reference so you can retrieve it via the ' Your previous quotes' option when the landlord gives you their consent.

Provide a copy of the detailed quote to your landlord (so that landlords can make an informed decision as to whether they require the cover (remember you cannot help them make a decision or provide any advice on the policy). Make sure you give them access to Aon's Financial Services Guide (FSG) and Rental Protection Plus Product Disclosure Statement (PDS). You can download these documents from Useful Documentation or from www.rentalprotectionplus.aon.com.au.

If the landlord decides to purchase the cover – provide them with a Rental Protection Plus booklet, have them read the 'Important Notices' and complete and sign the form based on the cover they require.

You can also apply for cover online – if the landlord decides to purchase the cover, all you the real estate agent need do, before submitting their application online, is to ensure you have obtained a signed Rental Protection Plus application form from the landlord, based on the cover they require, and made an Aon FSG and PDS available to them.

By doing this you will help protect yourself, us and the property owner.

Once you have processed the landlord's application for Rental Protection Plus insurance online, print two copies of the new policy schedule – one for your own records and one for your landlord.

Also, don’t forget to include your agent member number in the member number field on the application, as this allows us to credit this application to you and remit commission (if agreed to do so in our Agreement with you).
